ECM Furnace Blower Motor

Every furnace needs a fan motor to circulate air throughout a home – but not all motors work the same. Standard motors typically run at a preset speed, which uses more energy than needed and creates uneven temperatures. Electronically commutated motors (ECMs) adjust to your home’s heating and cooling needs while using up to 50 percent less energy than standard furnace fans.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Must be an existing home, not new construction.
• One unit per home. Upon approval, additional ECMs may qualify.
• Work must be completed by a qualified HVAC contractor.
• Home must also have air conditioning unit.
• Must submit completed application.
• Itemized receipt or contractor invoice.
• Application must be received within 180 days of installation.
• Must be a Heber Light & Power customer.
